Producer Documentary, 88 mins World Premiere Berlinale, 2018Alina, William and Kelly filmed Game Girls over the course of three years in various stages. As part of the development process, we formed a creative arts workshop facilitated by PhD, RDT-BCT Mimi Savage. The Game Girls workshops met weekly in a street level venue open to all people who identify as women in the community. The workshops informed the documentary as a sounding board for ideas and themes, a few scenes of which are in the film. But beyond that a community was formed and a performance, called Rock Paper Scissors, emerged from the creative and healing work done in the workshops.
